I'm wondering what kind of space-based dungeons and group content there might be, and what the reason for doing them will be?

Things like perhaps a constant warfront where you have to take a small strikeforce (5 ships) and take out, say, a forward starbase or outpost of an enemy. What other sorts of scenarios would make sense for space-based group content?

Also, is there any chance group /"dungeon" content will be simliar to episodes in that it will take the group from space to ground and through varying environments? As opposed to actual episodes where you just happen to group up.

Well, the Nuetral Zone is going to be a warfront. From what we understand you should be able to just fly in there with your buddies and "open up a can" in some form or other.

I'm not sure I understand your question here but they've said pretty much all episodes will require moving from ship to surface/station/other ship and back many times.

i just hope the ground missions are not kill mobs 1 through 5 and then an end boss like their other games:(

I'm wondering if group content will be the same (taking you through a variety of environments), or if there will be exclusively space or ground-based missions beyond that?

Which might serve as grounds for more advanced combat/tactics and such, really epic space battles, to make up for the lack of diverse locations.

I would love it if your group missions changed from space to ground, maybe even splitting you into a ground force and space force for some real variety. A change in scenery would be very good for those long missions where just fighting in space for an hour would get boring.

Oh I see. Well I'd imagine there'd be the chance for major battles around and in nebulas, asteroid fields and other places where there wouldn't be too much ground to walk on, if any at all. Plus there's got to be strategic chokepoints in space, like wormholes and transwarp hubs, that would probably be space-only combat spots.
