You called me a jerk. This is unacceptable. One of two things MUST happen.
1) You apologize
or
2) We duel to the death.
If you were near me I'd slap you with my glove Sir.

I thought you bowed to him and apologized yourself?
Why the need for this thread? A little attention hungry there, buddy?
In before the lock.

A) My pride has been hurt.
B) I'm bored
C) Things have been dead around here for the last month. I'm bored. Plus I've come to realize hes a jokester.

(Rekhan speaking to random forum members)
"You! Get me a copy of the Wall Street Journal! You two! Fight to the death!" *Star Trek TOS Fight Music starts*
"You! Cut my milk!" "I can't, sir, it's a liquid!" "Imbecile! Freeze it, then cut it!"

Where is that from? The milk thing? I remember that from somewhere.

While I agree that Rekhan could have handled that situation without calling you a "jerk" (as I stated in that thread), you did act inappropriate toward that other poster. While some would disagree with me...I hold the staff to different standards. Mainly as their words often have more impact than non-staff.
While they are people like the rest of us, it is important that they portray themselves as neutral...and work to uphold their own forum rules. However, the way things have been going around here...it is par for the course.

Wouldn't curdling it into a cheese be a more efficient method for cutting it? Rather than having to freeze it and then either laboriously chip away at it, or get a lovely chainsaw to cut through it

It's true. I feel like it stung me deeply. I cried myself to sleep that night and my self esteem has plummeted.

Family Guy, I'm hoping Rekhan will like the reference. If not, IT WASN'T MY IDEA, THEY MADE ME DO IT! Who made me do it? *runs*

I don't pay you to think! Wait a minute, I don't pay you at all. Cut my milk!

Yeah sure :). But I do believe it hurt you more than if just another non-staff member called you a "jerk." I know I would be more insulted if a staff member copped an attitude with me...the only plus is that I know where Los Gatos is...and can be there in 2 to 3 hours. Just kidding Cryptic Studios :).

I have to admit I wouldn't respond well to a member of cryptic's crew calling me a jerk but I am not 100% sure which post you had that prompted it. Either way, hopefully you both learn your lesson before this thread gets locked ;)

Haven't thought that far out. I guess we'll find out when the time comes, eh partner?

It is in the "Starting Ships clarification?" thread (still on the first page).

This is what ibby1kanobi is referencing to enlighten the audience that he is trying to attract and pretty much shows you were being rude.
Starting chars probably begin with a runabout. i can't possibly imagine any ensign being allowed to "captain" more than that. I expect no more than that to begin with
.....A runabout? Have you not read the reports at all? You start as a Lt. on a ship and your Captain and First officer are killed, and you become the field captain of the ship.
A runabout....jesus. Seriously? What would you even do with a runabout? Patrol Earths atmosphere?
He was incorrect. You don't need to be a jerk about it, though.
