The title says it all. I don't want to be a woman, but I was wondering if I will see any Klingon females running around in the game. I am, of course, assuming that this option will be available.

I have actually been thinking about that. My Star Fleet Captain will be male, I've already decided that. But making my KDF Captain a female is intriguing ... just because.

Not me personally, but I'm sure there'll be plenty on the Klingon side who will.

I rarely play women in MMOs, but if I do, I wouldn't hesitate to play a Klingon woman. Key'lehr was one of my favorite characters (I know, I know, she was only half-Klingon - big deal).

My primaries are going to be Feds -- but I suspect I'll take a Klingon or three out for a spin. I suspect one or more will be females, just 'cause.

Hmmm may have one depending on the structure of the game.

My primary character (first one anyway) will be a Klingon male.

Sure thing. But only because you asked. ;)

You can see some klingon females at star trek fan conventions, so I'm sure we will see some in game as well. And probably there will be enough customization options in game to create female warriors that fit more to our human standards of beauty than those that we have seen in television.

I personally am going to play only male characters, unless there will be a need for "bank alts", those can be females.

I can never really get into a female character (except the obvious, alllllright) But seriously, I find it hard to roleplay across gender lines.

Yup, been planning on this from the beginning. I have no qualms about playing a female in games. I guess if I averaged it out I am at about a 60/40 split male/female. But my Klingon is definitely going to be a female in full chest busting bodice beauty.

My Fed Char will be a male, so...

Why not have a ship/bridge full of proud female klingon Warriors ^^

Whereas I play a lot of cross gender characters. It's a bit of the Francis Ottoman principle (http://www.pvponline.com/2004/06/01/tue-jun-01/), admittedly.

It's always the MMO question of who's behind would you rather be staring at for months --

Plus there might be those few who underestimate a female toon being skilled or owning in PvP :D

I wonder if there will be a difference in strength between male and female characters. I think there should be. If female characters are not as strong as the males, I think the females should have an advantage to offset the inequity of strength like agility and/or quicker recovery from injuries.

Currently we don't even know if character attributes like strength and agility exists in this game, so speculation about differences in those stats, between males and females, may be pointless. ;)

Well the character I play will probably always be male. After all with all the bridge officers we have you can get quite a harem going...:D
