Achievement-/Badge- & Bio-System in the game ?

Actually I was gonig to try and ask the question in the next Dev-chat, but since I missed the last one, because I'd to work, I'm going to ask through this Thread

First of all I really enjoyed playing Cox

I really like the Achievements/Badges-system (especially the ones which grant several boni ^^)
And I also liked the short Bio everyone could write and read (for a short originstory as an example)

I would like to ask the devs if something similar is in STO

That would be really great
(there's nothing better than huntig achievements for Boni to keep someone playing ^^)

Edit: It's bonuses not boni like in german, sorry for that

A place to write short histories of your ship/characters seems easy enough and more than appropriate.

Not so sure about the achievements-granting-bonuses thing.

Although I did love trying to get the achievements in Planetside when they were introduced..

Oh i know that it's a joke just as mine

I spent hours in Cox chasing special "badges" to get a specific combination which'll grant another badge which raised the overall endurance (mana) of my char and also gave you a special Buff (which u could use every 12 or 24 hours i think) which increased your endurance regeneration and chance to doge an attack by a specific percentage (200 i think) for 30 seconds

Planetside's gave you a medal you could wear on your arm. That was it. But still, using a sniper rifle as a one-shot short-range musket to get the kills had it's upsides (like the angry whispers afterwards)

Having medals appear in your bio page would be nice, just to show people what you've been thorough, get some for server events too, participation/theatre awards.

You'd naturally plant an inert sensor pre-assimilation that listened for the signature of a borg laugh signal and then breaches the warp core.
