Not sure if its been discussed, tried searching but no luck. Have they talked about water worlds, like that found on Voyager episode 103 (Thirty Days), and if we would be able to explore those? Or visiting Demon class planets, or other ones humans wouldn't normally go to?
Will we be able to see/follow comets or wandering stars. Since they don't want objects destroying your ship, would flying into a star, or being hit by a runaway star destroy you?

They have water build into their engine. CO has several water worlds.
Treksuits?
Wetreks?

Probably? I'm not sure how they would work this.

if the planet is not Class M, then you need specilaized equipment to explore it, which also add vunerabilities during ground combat.
I sure hope so, as it wouldn't be trek without them. While they didn't have the budget to do such things often in the TV shows, we know such awesome things are visited regularly by starfleet, mostly thanks to dialogue. Plus, most of the movies have some sort of EVA suit action. (hooray motion picture budgets)

Yeah, some of the early STO episodes were really sort of pathetic when it came to props and whatnot ... I've been watching them on Spike, and its sadly comical at times.
My only question about following a comet or the like is that we know everything is going to be instanced for the most part ... you won't be able to follow it forever before it disappears into that "invisible wall".
I'm sure there instances will be able to be huge ... they don't have as much stuff to have to put in the instance ... but there will still be limits.
