I would ... If given a time duration

I would purchase at least a 6 month subscription to Champions *IF* they can at least tell us how much time in closed beta that will buy us.

But I have beta tested many a game ... Some made it to retail, a select few didn't.
I do not believe it would be appropriate to buy into the sub when I am not interested in the game, just to gurantee a closed beta slot for what ... 2 months maybe 3? Then what is to say the game will be up, and 100% available during the whole closed beta.

I remember getting into AoC beta, to have the servers less stable than a scyscraper built on a sand foundation on the San Andreas fault line. So again a less than stable product further lessens the time we'd be able to play.

So can we get some idea as to the duration this money will purchase for us?

Can we get a Dev to give us a minnimum duration we can expect? Without knowing how much time I would be afforded, I cannot justify the 6 month Champions subscription, especially since I am not going to play Champions.

If you have no interest in CO, then why even bother? That's like buying tickets to a baseball game just to get the freebie they give away at the door and not watching the game...it doesn't make much sense. There will be ample opportunity to gain access to the Beta at later dates.

I honestly would not buy the subscription if weren't going to play CO as well. Like IIntrude said, there will be plenty of oppurtunities to get into beta at a later date. Especially once beta applications come around. :)

However, I did purchase the 6 month subscription for CO, but that's because I will be playing it, already bought the game too. :D

I am looking forward to help test and make STO a better game as well though. Definitely was a great addition to the subscription.
