yes i know we just had that awesome klingon ship and we have had alot of awesome screenshots in the last year but frankly it has been an entire year since we had the trailer and now if i was new to this website and was watching the trailer i would think that is how the game would look now.
so is it possible? doesnt even have be now (since that is impossible) but if the answer is yes would it be possible to even get some sort of time frame? (a month, 2 months, "soon" etc etc) :D

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say yes. They've been preparing for something and I'd be willing to say for Vegas con, and I'd bet for Vegas con they have a video all ready and are gonna release it afterwards.

I'll volunteer to help fly one of the ships for some good old fashion PvP in order for them to get the "clips" they need of live action. ...
You know ... just to help out ...
soooo another dev team member can devote their time to "other tasks" ...

if you mean "buying this" meaning "your pitifull excuse to try and get into beta" then no :D
oh and the extend on my original post i dont mean a few minutes worth, just even a few seconds footage would be good as it would show off the new'ish graphics (since from screenshots they look miles better than the trailer's).
if they did get some new footage im guessing they would unveil it at the convention but then that is also wishful thinking
also it is coming upto the 1 year anniversary of cryptic's STO annoucment and trailer :p

Cryptic runs on a schedule they have previously said so no asking will get you a video. They will do it when they are good and ready although they brought out a wallpaper because people asked so who knows

Ya, they def need to get some new video up...the trailer is nice and all, but it's still just that: a trailer. Gameplay footage would be amazing...
