You are a Federation captain and while patrolling a neutral system your ship comes under fire by a Klingon ship of nearly equal power. You have battled each other for some time and you had both taken some damage and lost some crew.
Sensors then alert that two Borg ships have entered this sector. One Borg ship is on a course for an adjacent Federation system, where there is a Federation colony. The other Borg ship is heading towards a Klingon system.
Either Borg ship can be intercepted, but neither your ship nor the Klingon ship can defeat the Borg by yourselves. There is the possibility that the Borg ships can be defeated, one and then the other, if you and the Klingon work together.
You hail the Klingon ship and the captain agrees to work together, provided you intercept the Borg ship approaching Klingon space first.
How do you ensure the safety of the Federation colony?
