Just curious about a few things.

1.) Are you going to allow UI mods like WoW does? I know I found several of the UI mods for that game to be much more friendly to me and I'm curious if they will be legal in STO.

2.) Sector/system ownership? Will fleets be able to establish their own bases like in EvE and be able to "own" a sector of space?

3.) Cross fitting of tech? Say you have a REALLY good chief engineer, would he/she be able to fit a klink cloak to a Fed ship? Or fit captured Borg weapons?

4.) Player driven markets?

5.) Ability for fleets to operate their own shipyards?

Sorry if these have been covered in the past. I looked through the What we know thread and didn't see these.

The only things that has been commented on are 2 and 5, and the only thing said was that is the plan though it most likely won't make it into the game at launch.

For the mods they most likely wont let ui Mods like wow but may allow skin lay outs for the interface like they do in Coh /Cov.

Personally I really hope they Do something similar to Lotro interface where by pushing ctrl +\ brings up the entire interface / various pop up boxes , so you can rearange main bars ,side bars , size of things and move where loot or inspecting box text to where ever disired. You can also change teams list around as well. In the inner options you can turn off and or change health bars status like change to numbers or %, plus turn on or off and resize stuff. As far as any other games have gone in the past I have found Lotro the most customizing built into the game.

On a side Note AOC was one of the worst made by a company. My gawd such sloppy development there. Some kid within 2 hours made a reskin of the ui interface and had it out on the web that vastly improved the interface. Sure made a lot more sense than what the devs put out that was for sure. It took the devs weeks of being blasted to just to get the buttons lock ability. They also didnt see an issue when people complained when you right click on the side bars they would flip direction, drove people crazy.

I am also hoping for the ability to customize the UI I have yet to find a game where I am comfortable with the default layout.

I pray they do not have a player driven economy I do not wish to spend my play time like I am at Wal Mart running all over trying to find what I need in order to keep advancing.

I am for sector control on the boarder of the two factions which the controlling fleet will have to fight to hold onto. I think it would provide a focus to the fleet/guild that has been lacking in many MMOs.

In ref to five, I thought Craig's said that they want to include Fleet shipyards and stations, but he wasn't sure if they'd make it in by launch?
