It seems everytime I come on to read the latest greatest on STO lately, there is new information (eye candy).
I would like the opportunity to say thank-you Cryptic. Even though you are giving us some good and bad news, it is still news nonetheless.
There for a while, we were void of information, and the forums members were eating each other!
It was a terrible sight and us tribbles hate violence.
Please keep the info coming, regardless of how small.
You are taking form and materializing rather quickly!
Yea it really feels like STO is starting to move now, and all the news i've loved so far, just need some ground combat info now.

Agreed, I didn't even bother to become a member until recently due to the lack of info. I like what i'm seeing now!

Agreed. At least you can see what their focused on right now. You should be getting your wish soon on "groundpounding" :D.

Watch out! there's a Klingon behind you! You better spit out some babies quick so your bloodline can survive! (Do tribbles even have blood?)
Back on topic, YAY NEWS!

Such a shame, haven't you hear that every time a member asks for a gameplay trailer it gets delayed another week. :p
But, I have to agree the increase of info has made the forums a happier place. Thanks Cryptic!

I like daily info. Since I'm on the forums for hours every day, when there isn't any new info for a day or two it feels like there hasn't been info for weeks.

Yaaah, Crytpic is starting to show up to work 'On Time', lets all give a standing ovation. :p
They are basically getting back on track, so to speak.
I will hold my 'cheer', for the Website changes I Awen has hinted at:
I promise that I'm not dead! Crazy busy getting ready for Champs launch and getting STO content organized so that we kick the competition
Hopefully they will get the site up to par with SW:Tor, LotRO, WAR, WoW, etc -- with information Menu structure and user friendly information access. Then I will cheer. Right now, I see them just doing the 'basic' job, rather than showing up 'late to work'.

Let us all hope that when they are silent, their fingers are busy making the game awesome.
I would feel like a terrible tribble if I rolled into the Cryptic office and found them drinking tea and eating crumpets and tarts, laughing at the Perez Hilton whine ***too vulgar to link*** but I would say, a Black eye from the Black Eyed Peas ROFL. How ironic :D.

In my experience, silence usually means:
Internal problems
Game problems
Just dont care.
That doesn't mean that is the case here, but rather that I am less prone to being optimistic, based upon my past experiences and observations. And again Awen and Rekhan have been hinting at some changes -- which is a good sign. The 'hope' I have, is that these changes are in-line with what we are expecting, and present, imo, a more professional and user friendly appearance. We have given them enough examples of live sites to emulate, so I really hope it doesn't fall sort into a /facepalm. :p

Well, considering the amount of waivers Zinc will have to sign from now on to be allowed to speak publicly....
"I will not sue Awen for beating me about the chest, neck, legs and head if I say something she did not approve..."

I agree...we all remember when Perpetual was blown out the water and our dreams of Star Trek MMO were smashed. Thankfully Cryptic picked up the game and *gasp* are actually making real progress.
We all can't wait for beta ^ ^

Hahaha, I think drinking tea and watching Perez Hilton is an indicator of all three of those problems....
