Yes, the financial report is valid. However, this does not represent an actual release date. The release date, when announced, will be given on the official site.

That kind of thing has been floating around for a while. Basically an atari exec stated that STO is on track to be released in the current financial year (which ends on March 31st for Atari). So no, the link you gave is not correct because there is no scheduled release date.

Further the exec said they are aiming for a holiday season release, so we could see the game sooner than March.

The date that is on there is not a confirmed release date, but an estimated one. Nothing is confirmed at this point, but etiher way, if its march, or sooner, ill be happy :)

lol am I the only one who read the financial report all it indirectly says is that it will be between 2009 and 2010 something we have already guesses at as for it being in march of 2010 I ran a search of the document and nowhere does it say March 2010 so it's just another guess claiming to have facts to back it up.

Yeah, I read it. The document says "release for the video game expected by the end of this fiscal year", which for Atari means March 31st. So that's where I got that date from.
