Hmm no, in this universe (the real one) Vulcan is still there. In the alternate timeline that is the new Movie, Vulcan is gone.

Luckily, we are not part of that universe ingame.

EDIT. And endi beat me to it. Ahwell.

You could always change it to "Romulus Gone?"

Although, how about this answer, they move to Romulus and reunify with the Romulans, while in Universe Prime, the Romulans move to Vulcan, reunify with the Vulcans and form the Vulcan Star Empire.

All you need to know. (http://i525.photobucket.com/albums/cc340/the_grand_nagus/timeline6.jpg)

Yes, the new movie takes place in an ALTERNATE timeline, NOT the timeline STO takes place in:

Of course not; it would be entirely illogical for a cricket bat to come out of nowhere and hit you in the face.

You clearly have not seen the British armies latest peice of hardware, the laser guided cricket bat face planter, its doing wonders against the Taliban.

Is it right to use logic and cricket in the same sentence?

Cricket is a logical game, but only the most genius of nations understand it.

Vulcan can still exist...even tho it was 'destroyed' in the movie...it does not mean that the roughly 10,000 or so Vulcans who got off the planet do not go and settle another planet...if you ask me its still in the same timeline...things were set back in motion for the most part (as far as the timeline is concerned) near the movie's end

ALTERNATE timeline it was destroyed. Alternate. Not STO's timeline.

Vulcan was only destoryed in the altenative time-line/dimension, Romulan was destroyed in "our" time-line/dimension.

In the game you'll find "our" time-line/dimension, so Vulcan will be there, Romulus not. BUT, that doesn't mean that all romulans are gone, only 1 planet in their entire empire is gone (so no big deal, besides the fact that it was their home-planet).

(the same somewhat goes for the vulcans in the alternative time-line/dimension)

EDIT: TruthSeer beat me to it ;-)

Nope, Vulcan is still there.

They did some research in to Blue Matter. Using it they were able to reverse the effects of the Red Matter black hole, effetely putting Vulcan back were it was.

Then they sent a Super Nuke to Romulus, painted on the side was "Don't mess Vulcan". Romulus blew up.

Picard put is his lovely Bald head in his soft hand. The time line was restored.

And everyone went to Data's house for a party, Geordi wasn't invited something to do with a Cat.

Vulcan still exists becaus the game follows the timeline of the original movies.

Well... it's at least two, actually... Romulus and Remus were both destroyed... I know there are (were) four other planets in the Eisn system. Am not sure of any other colonies (according to canon) that existed.

Well, even if it was...it wouldn't be.

lets say...vulcan did go, like in the movie...that was WAY back in Kirks time.

given the technology, the vulcans would have resettled on a new similar planet and been pretty
much rebuilt...calling it vulcan or new vulcan.

so does it matter?

now romulus is very different, was just wiped out, along with a bunch of other
locations...very near to game timeline.

The EISN system is gone plus others between Hobus and it. And more we do not canonically know of
