Current graphics are in what stage of dev?

just wondering what is the current stage of the graphics? are they going to up the textures and shadows a bit more? or are the currently layers the main build assets for the game? Either way im interested but they could be cleaned i think. im not hating either just expect more, i hope.

I'm not a graphics person, but from what I can tell from the screen shots, they have been adding more and more polygons as they have gone along. to give you some references:

I just hope the graphics are scalable enough that you don't need a "Crysis" rig to run it. For example the costumizability of (dare I utter it's name) WoW is fantastic and runs on a huge array of crappy pcs and laptops.

I'm not saying I have a crap rig... my laptop can run Far Cry 2, Mass Effect, and Red Alert 3 perfectly... it'd be able to run Far Cry 2 better if it wasn't for the huge game bugs existant throughout it.

I just want to be able to play and enjoy it. Graphics don't really matter to me... but they're not even in beta yet and the game looks fantastic. I even like the cartoonish art design of the characters.

yeah my rig is aging but i feel it stilll serves me well.....but i do need to up grade to a duo or quad core. im running a pentium 4 HT 3.2, 1 gig of ddr ram when i actully could runn 4 gigs of DDR Dual channeled on my expansive optioned gigabyte titan board. My grpahics is a ATI 9600 /X1050 series. and have anice audigy 24bit audigy sound card and can use my hdtv up with any cable i want. But yes i need anew pc....:(
