Heh, not trying to be pushy or anything, but it seems like a good time for another Ship update, specifically for the Klingons. I understand that you guys are busy, but seeing your designs brings the community great.......hmm... ecstasy. :D

Hmm, I assume starfleet engineers and ship designers haven't been sitting on their hands for the 30 years preceeding Nemisis so I wonder what will be classed as the 'new' flag ship of the federation? a ship we can all aspire to commanding.

the Enterprise will ALWAYS be the "flagship" of the fleet. It an honorary thing similar to the letter designator on the end of the hull #. From the 1701-A onward, the Enterprise has been and will be the FLAGSHIP of the Starfleet.

Yes but what will the 'new' Enterprise look like, assuming that 'E' will be mothballed after 30+ years of service. Surely there will be an new design for 'F' in the way E replaced D.

not at all.... starships in the trek universe have lifespans of 100+ years. unless she was destroyed the Sovereign class Enterprise-E is still arround and the current FLAGSHIP. Eventually, the E will be replaced, but not for many years or untill its destruction.
