Console release of STO will come after PC version?

Hey Guys,

After reading the latest articles about the release of Champions online on the net, it only did state that July 14th was the release date for the PC version and not XBOX 360.

With this in mind, i can see that it will be the same for when STO gets a release date, it will be for PC first and then later on for console, so i can see console version not coming out now until 2010 at least maybe, though this is just a guess, if the release for "fall 2009" is still going ahead.

I am not trying to bad mouth anyone here, i plan to purchase STO for the XBOX 360 (I use a MAC for internet usage, etc) and i really can't wait. if it means i have to wait a little longer then so be it, for that my Wife will be happy, then i don't mind at all as long as it comes out for the 'Console' eventually.

So what do you guys think, now Champions is going to Launch in the next 2 months, does this mean more Dev's coming over to the STO side to speed the process up?

Also second question, what timeframe would you put for a console release after PC, 3 months, 6 months.
Be great to have your thoughts and opinions on this.

At this point, no, there will not be console launch when the PC does. However, cryptic says that they have the capability to make the console games work, they just need MSFT and Sony to agree.

This is good to know. having the whole dev team focus on making the PC version as good as possible is great news.
