Now that whats her name is dead (no offense, I just forgot her name) who did the voice for all star trek computers, will they still use her voice?

Majel Barrette Roddenberry. If they do, I am sure CBS/Paramount has enough sound bite archives of her to use for the game.

Well she hasn't been the only one, but yes. It will also depend on the family if they wish to allow it, though I personally don't see a problem with it, and I am sure Majel Barrette would have been honored, the final decision will be based on probably her will and what the family decides.

you know, there is this other voice as well, she does the Cardassian computers in DS9 in a few episodes, and i believe she did the voyager voice in elite force as well. Dont know the voice actress though, but if they wont / cant use the Majel's voice, that would be a great alternative. Also, you guys think there is enough archived sounds from Majel for this game?

it might be neat to have a few choices in computer voices. Especially for klingons, whom i would expect to use a male voice.


Personally i think all ships are/should be female (naval tradition), and as such so should the voice.
