Since people seem to want a monthly price of $8.99 and others $14.99. Let’s just all agree on a monthly price of $11.99 or $200.00. Just kidding, how about we all just stop arguing over pricing, and leave it in the capable hands of Cryptic. After all they are the developers, and we’re the audience they want to thrill and excite.....................:D:D
Whose with me?

12-200 is to vauge. Your arguement is flawed. The devs don't know anything :)

To be honest, we have little if anything to say about pricing structure. I would be that they go with the standard mmo pricing. If its still 14.99 at launch then they will probably charge that, if it goes up, so will Cryptic. If they drop the price, even if it isn't true, people will assume the game is a b-rate production and it will be less popular.

if you dont want to pay $15 a month to play a a-rated game.
i think this isnt the game for you i think you should look more for a free browser rpg game.

The best MMO's are priced at $14.99 but can't STO be revolutionary and have a cheap monthly fee all at the same time? How about a special system that allows me to pay $5.99 per month instead of $14.99 LOL!

there might be that there might not be even the best mmo have it to 1 month cost 15 bux how ever a 6 month pack will set you back 60-64bux. so that would come down to 10,50 a month. now if cryptic puts in a year pack you can probarly see 7-8 bux a month.
that is the reason most mmo charge 15 bux. when you buy more then 1 month at a time it gets cheaper

I think having limited pricing promotions from time to time would be more effective than simply having cheaper regular subscriptions. Turbine (LOTRO) is a very good example of a major studio with competitive yet sustainable pricing methods.

I pretty much agree. If they made their cost structure with only fanbois like us in mind, you may not get a realistic cost structure.
Cryptic financial department briefing:
"It seems like these people are willing to pay, $200/month, go for it!"

Nothing over $15 a month. Nothing over $50 for the game. It means death to go over the set standards.
