We have had several awesome updates to the screenshots section of the site.
But the wallpaper section is sadly lacking in new-hotness.
Some new wallpapers would be...awesome...
Just throwing it out there. :D

I still want that wallpaper that was seen at the NYCC. That would be an awesome wallpaper for my desktop.

I've used some of the screenshots as wallpapers, but they never fully cover my desktop, and stretching them distorts the image. It would be nice to have some new wallpapers, especially set up for widescreen.

My thoughts too. Especially with the newer shots they have posted, they would be awesome as wallpapers if they were just higher resolution.

They could have more i guess, though i just use the screenshots. Be sweet if they were a little higher res though :D
I've found that saving them to my computer and then setting them as background from the saved image gets a much nicer picture for some reason.

Screenshots are ok for wallpapers unless you're using a high resolution setting. New wallpapers would be a cool way to announce new content for STO.

Its mostly old concept art and maybe 1 screenshot on the wallpaper page, yet there are so many cool screenshots that have been released recently.
But as someone said above me, they look great unless your using a high resolution or a widescreen monitior. Which a lot of people have these days.

Yes I too would love some new wallpapers, and perhaps some avatars to download.... I'm no good at making my own and I hate taking other peoples Avatars, no matter how cool they are.
The wall paper shortage is kind of sad though... I am currently using a wallpaper from the movie site, the one of a darkened hallway with doars opening and the Starfleet insignia on it.
GIve us new wallpapers or give us.... new wallpapers?

Yes but as was said above, they look like crap if you blow them up to a decent reso or are using a widescreen monitor.
