There has been confusion in the past on who can participate in the Alien Identification Contest (or any other) after reading through the terms again i found this:
3.(c). If the total cash value of the Prizes is greater than zero-dollars, then the following eligibility rules apply: Contest is open to any current legal resident of the fifty (50) United States and the District of Columbia (excluding every national, state, local, or other jurisdiction in which it is prohibited or restricted by any law, statute, regulation, or other appropriate authority, and in particular Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, U.S. territories and U.S. military installations located in a foreign country) who is eighteen (18) years of age or older (hereafter "Participant").
Now, since the contest does not have any ca$h prizes it seems reasonable to assume that the contest was open for all people of age (meaning 18 or above...i assume). You do not need to be from the U.S as assumed a few days ago (I thought so too for a while). Since the terms of the contests seem to be steady and the same from contest to contest one can presume that any future contests (prizing beta keys) will probably also be free for non U.S citicens. So if you are 18 and legally free to accept the terms then participate and good luck!:)
maybe this can be stickied, for there were some people who were under the impression you needed to be from the U.S...
