Ship Classification - discussion

Hello,

I have seen several threads throughout the forums about the classes of ships to be in STO.
None posted a complete list of ships from the series.

(taken from Memory Alpha (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Category:Starship_classifications)).

Seeing the complete list of ships that appeared throughout the Star Trek universe in a single thread, might prove useful in time, or with a bit of imagination and ability to think 'beyond'.

Hmmm.... You forgot Federation Holoships.

"Training Vessel" is not a CLASS of ship, it is a USE of ship. Anything can be used as a training vessel - the U.S.S. Enterprise, NCC 1701, was a Constitution-class vessel. And in TMP and ST2, it was also a Training Vessel used by Starfleet Cadets and their instructors.

That list you linked to, is not a list of "Starship Classes" in the proper sense. Sorry.
