“Assimilated upgrade”

Do you think you will be able to get your ship “assimilated” to greatly improve its stats?

Not really. Maybe (big maybe) if player Borg are put into the game we'll have the ability to have a current character be assimilated to get a jump start into the faction.

Like Voyager you mean? I can't see it happening to that extreme, but perhaps we will be able to use technologies salvaged from the Borg. It would have to be attainable by all though.

No, because in essence, it would be a Borg controlled ship. Nanoprobes wont just jump faction because say, Starfleet or Klingons took the ship back, and if you removed them, it wouldn't be much of an upgrade anymore.

That'd be awesome on VOY the Voyager was refitted with Borg Armor when they were incountering Species 8472. They couldn't go to warp but I'm sure 40 years is long enough to work out that problem. Also wasn't their advanced armor plating that the Janeway used on the last episode w/ that ability to mind control the ship?

Like in the legacy games you go up against Borg assimilated ships that are formidable.

Hopefully Cryptic will find a way to have playable Borg characters. Remember the "Hugh" rebel drones were all individuals.
