Well, when interiors DO come out, what will you put into your quarters?
Personally I'll have a Toby The Targ (http://memory-alpha.org/en/wiki/Toby_the_targ) =D

Not exactly sure. In fact, running through the FAQs and forums I believe that there will be two important interiors to ships at launch. The Bridge and Engineering. These two areas are too interlinked in PvP to be discarded out of turn.
If someone takes over the Bridge all controls can be rerouted to Engineering and vice versa. If Cryptic preserves continuity than we will most likely see those two staging areas at launch.
Later launchs may have more interiors added to it and we will have more of an idea.

It's all about the PEZ dispensers (http://www.blogography.com/photos27/StarTrekPEZ.jpg), baby
Seriously, though, I hope they make it an option to retrieve "souvenirs" from planets you visit to decorate your walls...for a Federation officer, mine's gonna be a tad bit full of weapons...

It wouldn't seem far fetched to receive something like souvenirs for completing quests. I would also like to see celebration activities like in other mmos such as WOW. I would also like to be able to put the items in my ready room or star base.

I know its a bit cliche for a captain, but I really would like to have a good painting of an old tall ship on the wall. And I'd want a weapon display case that holds both current and "ancient" weapons. The image of an ornate flintlock pistol mounted next to a Type-2 Phaser pistol is just cool in my opinion - I like the idea of collecting souvenirs from different planets. I'm sure there's more that i'd like to have, maybe a plant of some kind, some holo-pictures. It'll be interesting to see what kind of interior customization is available when we do get interiors. I know I wanna put Halloween and Christmas decorations up in my ship when those times come around lol - could you imagine Pickard having one of his serious conversations in his ready room with a Jack-o-lantern sitting on his desk?
OH MY GOD I forgot! - I would also want a dog, not some small dog, but something like a big lab that would follow me around my ship :p
(ok, probably not happening in this game, but it would be fun)

not in my quarters, but in my ready-room, i want to have the gravity plating reversed so u fall "up" as u walk in or out of the room. i would also have all my furniture (desk, chair, etc...) on the ceiling, which of course would now be the floor.

lol that'd be awesome - can you imagine how disorienting that would be to anyone who you called to your ready room?

off topic ..... i would like to see messed up gravity plating as a result of battle damage durring interior missions. or even be able to do it as a gag on a firend.

well it is and it isn't off topic, I mean, if we're talking being able to customize the grav-plating, then attached to that would be battle damage in to your customizations. I mean, if my ship gets beat to hell, I don't wanna walk into my quarters and see everything where I left it - I want it to look like the room was turned upside down (which may have been exactly what happened)
and yes, it would be a great gag lol

I think it depends on the ship - I may be mistaken, but any ship with the standard saucer design I think the bridge, readyroom, meeting room (or whatever its called) and maybe something else are on a single deck - I don't know about the defiant, but watching Voyager I got the distinct impression that Janeway's personal quarters were on a different deck of the ship.

The Enterprise-D had just a bridge deck with the Bridge, Ready Room and Observation lounge. I'm pretty sure that is the design for all of the ships.

that I don't know
again - I use Voyager as my source because I haven't seen as many episodes of the other series.
Janeway did have pretty big quarters though - but its hard to get a reference on size without seeing any kind of blueprints honestly - I mean all our good references are based on how they shot it, I mean, I could shoot a ten by ten room with a wide angle lens and make it look 20 by 20. so its all just guessing, but I'd assume the captian's quarters are bigger simply by virtue that they sometimes have to entertain guests on diplomatic missions

The Observation lounge! that's what I was forgetting - but that's what I thought the design standard was - if there IS an exception it would be an unconventional design like the defiant. I vaguely remember reading somewhere though that deck 1 was used for what you listed above and nothing else.

Well to remind you to search the forums first before starting a thread, yes it appears they will one day. And heck maybe mementos will be available in the game to customize your room. I want a big water bed that is shaped like a heart (oh yah), and a bar:D

Polar bears aren't extinct.
In the future they could be, like the whales probably died out anyways after that enterprise movie. There would not be enough genetic variation for 2 whales to live or how many others they had. 1000 is a good number while less than 500 would be pushing it even. Some species have died out because they became such a small number like 300, 200 or 100 that sexual relations could not save them from man made doom:D BWHAHAHAHA
In truth I am sad that we have killed off many species and probably will continue to do so until we kill ourselves:p Until then, dont worry, be happy:D

This is subject isn't something that is in anyway, truly debatable, its unnecessary to actually search for something similar. I put "DO" in caps, because I know there are people who think that just because interiors are not coming at launch, means that they're not coming at all. Also, people would definitely complain if everyones quarters looked exactly the same, since you are, in essence, the captain of your own ship, be it in rank or not.
