Sooner than we think according to cryptic, or around the end of '09 / start of '10 depending on which game retailers website you regularly visit.

I think we can all agree that pretty much everyone here can't wait to play it, so don't worry about your impatience :D

They're still in alpha testing, it's gonna be awhile, though maybe you'll get a Beta invite, lord knows that's what I'm counting on to fulfill my Gaming needs.

That's how I got an AoC Beta Key, though I spent a ****-ton of hours on that forum, mainly b/c I was afk from my Desktop and had nothing to do lol!

i make a few post aday so i hope i might get beta slot :D i have only informaly beta tested pirates of the burning sea it was fun the give me books that got to me to level 50i was all so pirate and took any ship i wanted it was fun i got this neat sword after beta was over as reward and piarete

I hope the game will be great.. it feels like the concept could go either way.. it could be the best or the worst but not in between :) I hope they'll focus on raids and pvp tho.. doesnt look like there is much focus on it tho.. :D I love TNG so I hope this game will reign supreme :)

Yeah but the thing about betas is that they can be a double-edged sword. People go in wanting to "play the game" when what they get are expectations to actually TEST the incomplete product.

Post count and amount of time spent in forums has no effect on that. Considering most tests, especially early on will be scheduled for a small window taking into account that people have tons of free time isn't really important

Yeah, it's not so much quantity but quality of posts that will get you into Beta, which is soon. For instance, I've been drinking Jim Beam, but I still proof read my post (avoiding two typos and accidentally typing the lyrics to Red Rain).

I patiently await my Beta invite. :D

It won't. It's already the tail end of Feb. That gives just over two months before the film comes out. They haven't even started closed beta. So I wouldn't hold your breath on a may 8 release.

They did say "It'll be sooner than you think" and alot of people here have beenin saying Sept - Dec. So bringing the Beta out with the film would be "sooner than you think." lol

i also notice the stardate is getting closer and closer to the path to 2409 at the moment it is up to stardate 2384 i think when it reaches 2409 will coinside with either an anouncment of a release date maybe beta or maybe even the release of the game itself
