Shape Shifting ? Plex?

2 Q's

First will any player or crew be able to use shape shifting "especially players"?
Will there be any way to mask ones identity like turning in to a chair, or turning in to someone elce, or will you always show your own name even when shape shifted in to someone or something elce?
Even without shape shifting will their be any theif, ship stealing, boarding and takeing over "mount stealing grin" any way to infultrait the enimy sector other than ships cloaking? "individual ground personal cloakers?"
What about playing as a holigram? can you change your ID? infultrait, deactivate your self projector mode?



Secondly EVE online has PLEX, monthly acess purchacable with ingame currency... also purchacable like a normal month is via Credit card as an ingame item then sold-traded ingame for ingame currency rather than adding the 30 days credit instantly to ones account

This adds huge perspective and keeps populations high, adds to the economy and give it a balancing point that allows controle and support of the economy against gold farmers!

So will this game have any kind of PLEX type "buy an ingame item that is tradeable ingame that credits ones account for a month"?

p.s. on a side note, targeting surtain areas of a ship, sheilds, engines, warpcore, Weapons... what about the bridge! trying to kill the captain :p is this possible?

I'm guessing doubtful for pretty much every changeling question, it'd probably come under too much work for just one race, though if they do any type of Dominion expansion pack i'd expect atleast some of what you've mentioned.

We've seen some sorta boarding action with Klingons on a Starfleet bridge, but i'm unsure as to whether that was PvP or PvE gameplay. Either way, very doubtful that you'll get to actually steal other players ships.

As to PLEX, sounds interesting, I certainly wouldn't mind giving cryptic a stipend of my ingame currency for free play, just so long as they can stay afloat and i still have a game to login to. :D

EDIT: I'd imagine targetting the bridge would be allowed, though if i remember correctly the bridge is usually heavily shielded.

Red: Changelings are going to be in STO possibly at launch. In the recent Voonchat Interview with Craig he mentioned Changelings in his "character customisation" answer. Therefore he must be adding them in.

Blue: Possibly both or neither Both because you could board either an NPC's ship and kill them all or a PC and kill them all. Neither because Ship interiors would have been a major part of this and those are not in at launch.

Green/Lime: This would not work as Cryptic would go under faster than a cat with no legs trying to swim... when it's lungs are full of lead.

Yellow: yes they are and i suppose you could. Shinzon did it to the Enterprise D in Nemesis.
