It looks like they do transcripts on the interview, but we'll have to wait for them to type it up.

I agree that this interview was very interesting, and hopefully someone posts the audio recording somewhere so that those who may have missed it are able to access it -- or, at the very least, hopefully the website posts a transcript at some point.

I would recommend making sure your sights are properly alligned. Also, try gradually squeezing the trigger rather than rapidly pulling it or squeezing then stopping. Many people recommend holding your breath as you squeeze the trigger, this is generally a bad idea as most people tend to shake slightly while holding their breathe, I recommend breathing in just before you are ready to fire, then slowly breathing out as you pull the trigger.
I know it can be daunting missing the first time, but you just have to keep at it.

Yea I posted that this was coming up, and to reitereate what I said there in here. Voon is a terrible client and I really dislike using it, I wish there was another medium at which this was published. On another note, why is it that this one was specificall pointed out, when there is so many other things that have been passed over for promotion by you guys? I'm just curious is all no flaming intended etc.

I believe we should have the chat audio itself available for download after the event.
Is what I got from the admins at 10TonHammer, so hopefully theres a third party involved that will take the time to type one up, lol.

Was this cut short? Or was it just ... short to begin with?
Was this cut short? Or was it just ... short to begin with?
almost an hour from the vary start to finish ... how is that considered short? I thought it was longer than any single time Craig has talked to us before...
Greetings all, just got home from work a little ago. I am uploading the audio (minus the first 18 secs or so which did not record) to fileshare. I will post the link when it finishes, although at 138 MB it is going to take almost an hour with my connection. I will keep you updated if the upload fails, and perhaps I will cut it into 2 or 3 parts :)
UPDATE: with about 15 mins left or so it says: upload total 100 % (Infinity KB from 138220 KB) / Upload speed: 0 KB/Sec, Time remaining: 2358941:00 minutes -- I am guessing that it timed out? I have started it in a separate upload... If the first finishes I will post the link, if not I will post the second link but that one has about 50mins left to upload (at about 50kbs a sec)
UPDATE 2: Ok so I gave up the first upload, the second one reads at 26 mins left :) so sit tight it is coming :P
Good news alll! For those of you that have not got a chance to hear the Ten Ton podcast, here is most of the audio. I missed recording the first few moments of the interview but the majority is located in the download.

#1. Simply click the link
#2. Then wait about 60 secs for the DOWNLOAD button to appear.
#3. Click the Download button and download the file.
The size is about 138 MB so it is going to take a while on even a fast connection.
Let me know if there is any issues.

When I went to check it out, it said from 8:00 to 8:30 my time was the chat, hence I missed it. That's why I asked if for some reason it was shortened.
I'm checking out your DL now of it.

I will make a transcript of the audio file by tomorrow night or have a direct download on startrekfleet.com
I update rapidshare so we can download it more than 10 times.
Greetings all here is an update:
It has come to my attention that only 10 people can download the file from each Rapid share link that I upload the file to. So here are some updated links (each should host up to 10 downloads) and also note that I converted the file to MP3 format so that it is much smaller (25 MB about) and trimmed the empty space at the end.

Ok I think that should host up to 60 downloads of the file. This should be enough to keep those intrested in viewing until the official link is up on the Ten Ton Hammer website :).
Please PM if you have any questions!

I can't wait for this game. My son and I are long time Star Trek fans and have been checking this site everyday for new info.
This maybe an old question but, is there any plans for additional factions (Romulans, Cardasians) in future expansions? if anyone knows!
Does Cryptic have any plans to release more Klingon content to preview?

Great Job Craig. To bad I wasn't able to catch it *toss a glare at work* glad I was able to catch it.
If you go to www.startrekfleet.com we got the audio file an it will not have NP for people to download it. you will need to register for the site. I should also add we have had it on the site for days.

From what we have been told yes there is planes to add more in.
This interview is totally awesome! I like the open way you are talking about your work and the Cryptc team, Craig.

It was a great interview, I'm possibly one of the greatest fans of STO, I played Earth and Beyond and it was very fun at the time, now the technology will make a game like STO absolutely fantastic. From what I see it will have all the ingredients needed to draw both space-game fans and I'm sure alot of people from WOW and other major mmorpg's. We can't all be astronauts, but we can explore space with a game like STO.
The Profit Gamers Guild even has a webpage dedicated to promoting STO.
Please check it out http://www.profitgamers.com/startrek-online-mmorpg.html
