First of all I live in europe but most of my friends who i play with live in US so am i allowed to play US version as european or are you going to do the same as quite many other mmorpg companies (mythic EA for example) That do not even allow you to buy the US version if you happen to live in europe or are there going to be just 1 version/login that works for everybody with specialized servers (Spanish,German, Italian,French). Or maybe you could use european version to get to US server...

Ok now about the request:

Please allow us to make Romulan from start. My personal opinion about the Klingon empire and Federation is quite negative when compared to Romulan (+ Romulans have the best looking ships have to love the green with cloak ability)

You never know, it is "possible" they could get the Romulans as a playable faction... I doubt it, they have said that it will be Feddies against the Klingies. The Rommies will be in an expansion pack or update later.

I do not know about the European thing. I just hope that they have American only servers that only allow people w/ an American IP address on. I do not like the gaming mannerism's of some nations players. It is a cultural thing!

In the trek con footage he says that he would like to have it on one server and he said that there is nothing limiting them from doing so, but I haven't heard anything else on the subject.

but i think that online gaming should be cross cultural. online gaming is yes about the game and yes about developing social relations with people from around the world (thats why they call it world wide web - not american web.
Dont explore the universe if you dont want to explore your world (not ment as insult lol)

I prefer FFXI's model, where there are no national/continental/language based servers. The nice thing about everyone sharing servers is multiple peak times, so there is almost always plenty of people on (although some kind of auto-translate feature becomes a must have :p).

BTW, this does not necessarily mean a single server system; in case anyone was getting the wrong idea.
