Vulcan as first officer?

I've been thinking about Bajoran or Trill for my captain. Currently I'm leaning towards Bajoran, so I might make my 1st officer a Trill. I'll probably make the gender the opposite of whatever I make my captain.

I think that many of my choices will be influenced, if not dictated entirely, by the racial abilities and statistics that Cryptic attaches to the various species.

That said, I wouldn't mind having a Vulcan science officer myself.

I'm thinking having my first officer be Vulcan but it all depends on what charactistics the races will have and how they will balance each other out among my crew before I finally decide what my first will be but I definently want a Vulcan and an Andorain in my crew.

It really depends upon what Benefits each race provides. I would put a Nausican Female as a 1st officer if the stats were what I needed.

For a Federation character, Bolian. Or if I can't get one, I'll custom make a look-a-like.

For the Klingon Empire, I'll probably custom make my character and assign a Klingon as my subcommander.

My first officer is a male Vulcan named Surek, both knew each other since the Academy then I requested him to be my First Officer once I reached the rank of Captain and was given the Courageous. Which he accepted ;)
