I know this at first glance sounds like a stupid question… however, it is I believe a worthwhile question to investigate.

Are we going to see our beloved Starships hallowed walls torn and tattered, its crews screams and squalls and agonizing shrieks- thundered forth by a bulkheads beaten breasts; and every gaps for breath, made bleak, in the looted sleeves of her lifeless jacket- Soaked with the silence of space?

But really, can we expect the hulls of our vessels to take quite beating before its inevitable explosion?

well, realistically, a ship could take a hell of a beating depending on where its hit. Then it could only take 1-2 shots if hit in the right spot.

I would expect us to take a beating though as long as we have shields up

Practically nothing about the gameplay has been released yet. Cryptic hasn't got that far with the programing.

One related question might be will we see Ginsu-ing?

Ginsu is a term coined for Klingon Academy. The ships in that game (and bridge commander) would show open holes in the ship so you could see inside with fires burning on the decks. I think you could even blow off warp nacelles.

But will we SEE it?
