Quick question

I know answer prob but got to ask.. If you look at Original and next gen ... The red shirt not same.... Like the capt wears a red one in next gen but not in original .. So will we have to option to make are crew wear what color you want

Cryptic is big on customization, so you'll definitely be able to customize your uniform. But it will still look like a uniform, so nothing too crazy.

Im sure you can choose whether you will be in command uniforms, security or engineering, and medical or science. Who knows, there might be unlockable novelty uniforms, like the uniforms from first contact or some other thing.

Between The Original Series and The Next Generation, the command division and operations division switched colours. I'd guess that Cryptic will be using the new colour scheme. i.e. captain is red.

Yes, I think they'll stick to the TNG era onwards scheme. Uniform customiztion is fine, but if gold can mean Engineering, Tactical, Command or Operations and so can red, it may get confusing. Then again, having Tactical, Engineering and Operations the same colour is confusing in itself, but that's how it is.

Aye, well, Command is red, but I don't think that would prohibit the other two colors. I believe Dr. Crusher captained her own vessel in an episode and kept her blue/teal uniform; of course, that was a time-warp episode, so anything goes... :rolleyes:

I was sort of hoping Cryptic would introduce newer uniforms, updates to the existing types from the races in TNG. Considering the time passage from TNG to the launch of STO, it would certainly not be out of the question that uniforms may have been upgraded or modernized for the times.
