What happened during the last website maintenance? The STO Home Page is a wreck now, and the forum pages are loading/refreshing slower than before your recent "Off -to-fix"

What's going on? If there are techninical difficulties, us geeks like to know what they are, but a simple message of we know, we're working on it and we hope to fis it by tomorrow/next week/ or before launch... at least we have some vague communication.

Our nemesis is SILENCE from our Source.

No offense, but with 6 posts to your name are you really qualified to say that the forum is running at peak performance compared to last month?

This is what was replied:
We're making some changes in the infrastructure that will ultimately be a very good thing.

If anyone is experiencing slow loading pages, they should clear up soon.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hope they fix it soon. I'm on Firefox too and still get lag of 2-3 sec minimum

Hi Coco,

I read that quote but the timestamp pre-dates the most recent maintenance and I still feel a chug. I don't use IE so please don't throw Firefox out there as being the godly fix. The forums seem to be as slow as ever ( well maybe a little better), but the STO homepage (http://www.startrekonline.com/) was in shambles. Might be a work in progress. I'll check again tomorrow. :)

Seeing the last maintenance didn't affect the forum I don't think it will have an impact on performance either, so we'll have to wait for another one I'm afraid. And yes noticed some probs on the homepage too. A few techies are stressed out right now ;)

Then again, the cookie monster strikes again! deleted my cookies and reconnected and it's looking normal now. :D

I've noticed some delays when signing into my account. Around 20 seconds or so

It also takes a few more seconds than usual to bring up posts and such.

Maybe "Q" will fix some things for christmas =)

Just the auto-resize on the homepage isn't working. Guess they missed that one.

I'm posting on this thread because I'm still having some issues with this and I am hoping that a community service member will see this thread again so that these issues can get fixed eventually.
