I'm just getting started in here and looking over the forum and some of the screen shots,
still trying to figure all this out.
Will STO be kinda like SL? Second life. com like environment?

Greetings...Will STO be like SL...hmm..good question...but i belive not. In SL you caint leave a planet and go to another one or go into space at that. In STO you can and a whole lot more than SL. Hope that helps you out...

I think that there will definitely be some social aspects to Star Trek Online, but I'd imagine that the game will be considerably more combat and objective-based.
