Couple of qeustions...


''Starbase qeustions''
1). Will the starbase become the fleet's house?
2). Can you enter the starbase? if so how much people will be able..
3). Can enemies enter it? or allies?
4). Will you be able to adjust the inside of it like your ship?
5). Can you have special meetings on them like making plans, schedules or events?
6). Will you be able to control the starbase?
7). Can you send message true the starbase?
8). Will you get a message when there are hosttile ships in the region?
9). Can you use the Starbase as a trading vessel with other fleets or anything els?
10). Can you command or give a mission to a fleet member true the Starbase or in that kind of direction??..

Extra qeustion.. How much starbases can you have?
Really last qeustion.. Can you dock with a ship on it?? or shuttle..

Guilds/Fleets qeustions

1). Will there be a logo ingame?
2). Will there be a ranking of Fleets and a killboard or something like that
3). Is there any Map that is gonna show us where the fleet's starbase's are and what regions are in control of wich fleet..

I think what you're asking is will we have something similar to a Guild Hall? That would be a nice feature, but I get the feeling that we may end up with multiple starbases and the properties you suggest should be limited to one place. Perhaps we will be able to designate one as a HomeBase, so to speak.

This also brought to mind the question of communications. Could we use bases as relay stations for communication? How far away can we go before we are out of range and on our own? Just speculations.:confused:

Anyway, looking through your list, I don't think that there's anything that can be answered definitely at this point. Good questions for the next "Ask Cryptic" though.

Hey bud ... not that I'm an expert of any sort but from what I have read and understand here are some possibilities:
1. Obviously there will be several starbases. Most (if not all) will be NPC in the area that will be PvE. These will most likely be like small cities as far as accessability is concerned.
2. As with most bases or out posts some will no doubt be larger than others and consequently have a greater varriety of goods that we can have access to.
3. I am guessing also that we may need to visit different bases in order obtain rare or difficult to obtain items.

No .. we don't know to what extent we will be able to "go inside" of these bases. Some will no doubt be smaller, just places to refuel or to restock vital necessities or to purchase basic repair parts (etc).

As far as "control " of these bases in the PvE areas .. probably not.

NOW then .. PvP areas .. It stands to reason that is "possible" that we MAY also be building starbases. In PvP areas control of these bases may be possible.

I'm also just sepculating ... BUT I'm also thinking that there will also be some bases and planets that can be "captured" and consequently controled by different factions. These probably would not be "distroyed" ... just under a different "flag" so -to-speak.

I realize that this is specualation of course... but just piecing togeather some of what they have released thus far these seem to be the most logical.

Still to be answered: The extent of control, win / loss of bases under fire if they are owned by players. I'm guessing that if it can be built, it can be saverly damaged (or lost) depending upon to what extent that the DEV team chooses to interprit "loss" of ships or bases in PvP. (that is a discussion that is still on-going in another thread under PvP).

BTW... all of your questions are very good ..

AND ... if anyone from the Dev team would like to jump in here and answer or clarify some of our "specualting" ... that would be super !
