Greetings Cryptic Folks,
Just posting two ideas for this forum....
Like everyone else following STO, I really appreciate and enjoy the Ask Cryptic / Cryptic Answers posts, keep them up! ... but aside from the many questions we have, I'm sure many of us have suggestions (serious, sincere suggestions).
Why not add a sub-forum for Suggestions, stuff the fans/players want to see, from big concepts, to little things. Lord of the Rings Online has a Suggestions (http://forums.lotro.com/forumdisplay.php?f=122) sub-forum for their gamers to throw out ideas. Some of them are garbage lol but some have been and are really good and thoughtful and many of the suggestions from the players have actually been incorporated into the game.
The other thing, a minor thing, it'd be cool if the web-monkey, I mean web-master, could make the background of the forums static, so the planet doesn't move as we scroll the page up/down, so only the forum list and post text scrolls on a stationary starfield. It would make look/feel like the forums are floating in space.
