"... spread it." is working as my quotes post now. Would love more signature space as drop down, maybe a link to a larger section on the user profile? Could even make the visual signatures much smaller, 400 charactes and four lines, say?
I won't rise to this bait:
Why? ...
Except to say that I have friends that work for MMO companies and in one case they did the analysii too late. Oh and I am talking with one company rather seriously, because if my visa is approved I might be working for them.
I am asking for the actual area of the signature on every post to be smaller, that if you click it, then it will expand or take you to the private profile.
I would be happy if it was reduced to just one or three lines.

I'd actually hated more space, there are some (none who post regularly, thank goodness) with massive, screen breaking sigs! A sig is there to give space to create some individuality, and I think it's big enough for that.
Plus we get avatars too, I think we're given plenty of freedom already :)

Sorry but it is space allocated for a signature, not personal advertising and link posting.

Why? Do you really need more room to put even more total fallacies like "PvPers are a vocal minority", and even more links to you own posts (most of which are advocating things hardly anyone agrees with anyway)?
I'd like an option to have a smallish graphic sig mind you, but they don't allow it here or on the CO forums for some reason, so I don't expect it to change.
By the way, there's no way anyone could even remotely think that this topic belongs in the Star Trek Online Discussion section. We all should try and be responsible and help the mods out so as not to make them have to bother with shifting threads around all the time.

Sigs can be too big. Make 'em smaller! Though allow pictures (long and short).

I don't think that images should be allowed in signatures, but I wouldn't mind seeing the maximum length of signatures increased since I like seeing what some people put in their signatures. I can only imagine what kinds of things will be placed in signatures once the game is actually released!

I'm against expanding sigs. We have all the room we need, adding pretty little pictures and animations just clogs up the site and means you have to scroll twice as much to read the boards.
