Which 3 legendary Star Trek characters do you hope will be there to talk to/take missions from on the game? It's only 30-40 years past any of the more popular series (TNG, DS9, VOY). So many of them are probably still around.

My 3:
1 - Tuvok
2 - Odo
3 - Quark

Could list more but will limit it to three...

Spock, maybe? I would have to agree on Tuvok, And another for me would have to be Vorik from VOY. He's not very well known, but I liked his character (I wished they did more with him).
There's more, but I guess I'll stop at three, too. My list is all Vulcan, though. Who would have guessed?:D

Well, Q will be in there I have no doubt to some degree. I can see Tuvok being around also. Some of the younger people in Voyager and Deep Space Nine may be around, such as Tom Paris.. he could be an Admiral by that time.

Tuvok should look pretty much the exact same cause Vulcans hardly age very fast. Spock was even in ST TNG. I'd love to see Q as well!

I think it would be pretty cool if on the Starfleet side of things, if even Holograms of Kirk, Picard, Sisko and Janway could be teaching portions of our training during the Tutorial.

I wonder how many people remember Vorik from TNG, he was only of the 4 Ensigns trying to get promoted in the eps. that focused on sub characters and not the main cast.

I would like to see any of the Vulcans, spock being the oldest known when last saw. I would like to see Chief O'Brian still teaching at the Acadmey.. I think he would be in his mid to late 70s.

Also you have to wonder how Seven ages because she still had a few of her borg implates... then you have the paris' little girl, ect..

i always wondered what happened to ensign Golwat in voyager, she was one hot Bolian.

Quark should still be around, but if he's not i got first bid on his vacuum dessicated remains! I'll see him one way or the other.

If any of the main characters from the series are dead i'd love to be able to visit their graves and pay homage to them and whatnot.

Same actor, different Vulcans.

From "Lower Decks", ST:TNG
Alexander Enberg as Taurik

From ST:Voy
Vorik
Played by Alexander Enberg

It's not hard to mix up the two characters though, he played them both characters similarly and there really wasn't a need to make them look/behave differently from each other.

1) Data (and not some B4 clone. hehe the implication and warm fully feeling of having Data back. :) )
2) Worf
3) Kahless (even if only a clone he is in fact still Kahless)

3) Kahless (even if only a clone he is in fact still Kahless)

In the book Kahless, it explores the myths behind the Unforgettable One. It goes into detail about how Morath was the honorable Klingon behind the revolt against Molor. It goes farther on to say that the blood on the knife that cloned Kahless was actually Morath's. That means that the clone of Kahless is really the clone of Morath.

Or maybe not ;)

Yes the question however comes into play if Cyrptic takes this soft cannon approach or the series cannon.

Exactly. Seeing as how they're taking the Titan novels fairly seriously, they could with Kahless, as well.

You know, that makes me think, perhaps the 'Kahless' clone could be part of the reason for the impending war with the Federation. A bid for real power, perhaps? An assassination of the Clone made to look like Federation doing? Who knows?

hehe why would it have to be to look like Federation doing. Maybe the Federation really did. You can never trust those Feds.

But I agree this could be an approach to explain the reason behind the Klingon's new cold war stanse.

Not likely. The Federation were trying to prop up Kahless as the new Emperor, in opposition of Gowron's desires. They wanted someone a little less self-interested and testy in charge of the Empire, and more inclined to talk and ally with the Federation.

You know, there is a reason why they said that that most of your favorite characters either died or retired. They don't want to bring in anyone. Cut them loose I say. I don't need to see a familiar face to enjoy the game. And pushing it on me using a silly reason just for fan service strikes me as a poor choice of design.

I agree, however seeing as how there is little to no information concerning Klingon history/culture if you remove Kahless from involvement the Devs would have to write in some pretty strong character designs to fill the void.

True. The Feds are always trying to water down our culture and set in place a puppet they could control. However I would not put anything past those Romulan you have working in Section 31.

Tuvok is the logical choice. Q would be awesome. Finally Tom Paris. 30-40 years is a lot, so I figured they should all still be around.

wow I thought that was suppose to be the same character. (ie. transferred from TNG to Voy, hmm guess i need to watch that episode again) The names and character were so similar i never really thought much about it.

It is difficult to pick only three "legends" of Star Trek that I would like to see in the game, but if I had to choose I would definitely like to see Spock and Data as well as one of the well-known medical personnel from the series such as Crusher or Bashir.

Ditto. The only one that wouldn't make my eyes roll would be <insert name> Dax. Whoever is hosting that Trill symbiont in 2409 makes the most sense to me.

I only want to see them in game if it makes great sense to put them in and does not feel forced.
