When there's a Borg invasion, and a message from your HQ flashes up in your chat box telling you where they are, would you want a button or command that sets a course at maximum warp straight to them?
Finding the right place manually can be difficult, and it would make sense that the co-ordinates would be uploaded to your ship. This could also give you time to prepare your ship for battle as you're travelling.
It probably isn't a big deal, but I know it would help me.

Depending on how far away the invasion is I'd like it to come up on the navigation screen so we can set a course to it.

I'd rather have it come up on a map that way you can have a better idea of where you're going and what you're getting into. Just having a button pop up could lead to some bad results, because what if you head to an area that isn't yours and start an interstellar war with a race of large sex starved women who then destroy your fleet and make you into their sex slaves...I vote for the button now!

It will be like the red "easy" button that will stick out of the console. Normally, it's programed to take you to Risa but during an invasion, it reroutes to the event destination...and then back to the Academy for some education.

Not a bad Idea. Gives you the option to drop what your doing and head to intercept the Borg threat. Has a nice immersion factor to it I like alot.;)

Although this is a relatively minor feature, I definitely would like to see it implemented because I think it would be very convenient.

I suppose the information icon that the Borg are attacking could be.. right clickable and then you just select [go to destination] or something.
