I would like to ask the DEVS to consider having a Star Fleet Marine Corps capability included when the game goes live for any planet side ground combat scenarios. Being able to beam down and send large Marine assault forces to secure an objective or to guard newly found resources would be a great in game asset to have especially when your a Star Fleet Captain.

Already did thanks. I earned my Eagle, Globe and Anchor back in Sept. of 84 from MCRD San Diego.

NO an academy would be a terrible idea. Becaue in Star Trek, they never once mention StarFleet Marines.

I don't know about that. To have to control a "large Marine assault forces" down sounds a little too much like RTS to me. Also, I do not think that the game play is going to call for that type of scenario.

As a fellow former Leatherneck myself I appreciate what youre saying, but I just don't think it would work in this type of environment.

Besides, one photon torpedo on your "large Marine assault force's" coordinates, and we would have a lot of dead Marines.

No one wants that....:)

Well I guess they will have to wear their body armor then. Button those chin straps. Well atleast we can always wish. :rolleyes:
