If you really look at this from a fan's point of view, the Delta Flyer is basically a small ship, while a shuttle is a shuttle. Where's the midway point? Captain's Yachts. You know that small, almost ship-like thing on the bottom of Voyager and Enterprise? That is a Captains Yacht. The question is, will these be used in STO? They weren't used at all in the shows as I recall, but they were used in Star Trek: Insurrection, and I believe one other movie(and only on the Enterprise-E). Personally, I can see them as a great story tool for certain missions, like ones where a transporter can't be used. What do you guys think about this?
